ABOUT BAYYINA TO BAYNA
From humble beginnings
to a lasting mission.
An institute committed to promoting awareness of Arabic and restoring appreciation for its exceptional richness and beauty.
بBayyina To Bayna began more than a decade ago through modest, informal gatherings where Arabic knowledge could be shared with care and purpose. What started simply has gradually grown into a dedicated Arabic education initiative, rooted in a lasting appreciation for the language.
Today, we create opportunities for learners to engage with Arabic as more than a subject of study. It is a language of linguistic richness, cultural depth and profound meaning — one that can open a closer relationship with the words and ideas it carries.
Awareness
We work to spread awareness of the Arabic language and its enduring importance.
Engagement
We encourage learning and meaningful engagement with Arabic across communities.
Connection
We help learners reconnect with the profound meanings embedded in Arabic.
OUR JOURNEY
Growing from
shared knowledge.
Our journey has been shaped by a belief that Arabic can become approachable when learners are given a thoughtful place to begin. From those early gatherings, Bayyina To Bayna has grown into a focused learning environment for people who want to study with greater attention and understanding.
Hundreds of learners have participated in our learning programmes. Each learner arrives with a different starting point; our purpose is to provide a structured path forward while keeping the experience welcoming, meaningful and connected to real understanding.
HOW WE LEARN
Structure with
understanding.
Our approach is holistic and learner-centred. We begin with foundations, then guide learners step by step toward greater understanding and proficiency. The aim is not only to introduce Arabic concepts, but to help learners build confidence in engaging with the language over time.
We offer both Classical (Qur’anic) Arabic and Conversational (Spoken) Arabic. Learning opportunities are available online and in person, with Arabic taught systematically and supported by electronic study materials and online MCQ-based assessments.
Our programmes are particularly accessible to learners who can read the Qur’an and are comfortable learning through English.
WHY BAYYINA TO BAYNA
Arabic learning with a wider perspective.
Bayyina To Bayna brings together structured learning, modern teaching methods and a learner-centred approach to Arabic education—helping students progress from foundational understanding toward meaningful engagement with the language.
01 / TWO DIMENSIONS OF ARABIC
From Qur’anic understanding to spoken expression.
Learning opportunities span both Qur’anic/Classical Arabic and Conversational/Spoken Arabic, allowing learners to engage with Arabic as the language of the Qur’an as well as a living language of communication.
02 / STRUCTURED LEARNING
Patterns before memorisation.
Naḥw, Ṣarf, vocabulary and language analysis are taught through a structured approach designed to help learners recognise how Arabic works rather than simply memorise isolated rules.
03 / TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED
Traditional knowledge. Modern delivery.
Presentations, electronic study materials and online MCQ-based assessments complement classroom instruction, while programmes are available through both online and in-person learning modes.
04 / ACCESSIBLE & LEARNER-CENTRED
A pathway designed for the learner.
The learning approach is particularly accessible to students who can read the Qur’an and are comfortable learning through English, with programmes open to both men and women.
“The goal is not simply to study Arabic grammar. It is to build the ability to recognise, understand and connect with the language.”
